It is my pleasure to propose
you a unique program of baroque music. The program is arranged in such
a way as to keep the audience listening attentively during the whole
concert, despite the fact that the program pieces, being thoughtful
and profound, are not so easy for the perception. In fact the whole
concert is a well-produced and formed-up staging.
The musicians are so sincere
and inspired, that the audience can easily imagine that the music was
not written 300 years ago, but was created before their very eyes,
directly on the stage.
The
traditional sonatas are played in the original arrangements by
Roman Kekhman. Throughout the concert his clarinets perform like a
cello, an alto, a bassoon, and a flute. Thus, he chooses the bass
clarinet to perform Sonata in G-Major A. Sakkinni.
The audience appreciates very high his virtuoso technique of the
clarinet in B in Sonata op. 37/2 and Sonata
op. 37/3by Joseph Bodin de Boismortie. His clarinet
in C sounds with the moving beauty and purity, when he plays Sonata
in E-Minor by G. Schteltzel.
Now
and again each of the trio musicians becomes a soloist. Yakov Entin
plays Sonata No. 2, Op. 5, No. 8, in
E-Minor bу Arcangelo Corelli meditatively and
expressively. The audience is captivated with the heartfelt and
cordial emotions of the violinist. Corelli's music as played by Yakov
Entin is comprehended by the audience in a contemporary and vibrant
style.
